Life after death

Having tried death as a POSIWID how about the height of life?

Steiner has a thesis that the heart of ethical action lies in truly wanting what is best in a situation. He claims that intuition about that best action and seamless acting on that intuition is the very pinnacle of ethical behaviour. This is beyond but also in opposition to any code or principle.

Steiner claims that people who learn to do this find themselves in agreement as to what needs to be done. This sounds romantic to our ears but I think there is an important truth as well. My point here is that it seems to establish a POSIWID that points to a system that we pay no attention to: the set of people of good will. We certainly need a sense of the system that can challenge the utilitarian nonsense we are obliged to consume.
