Daylight Wasting Time

Surely the POSIWID of the earth’s wonderful twenty-three and a half degree tilt is not simply to have provided an excuse for nineteenth century Tory landowners to shift the clocks back so as to screw an extra hour's work out of their peasants of a morning and condemn us all to midnight darkness at three thirty in the afternoon over a century later?

Time's POSIWID is to mark our passage and give us milestones for memories. It's good to remember that clocks aren't time.
